Ride the Wave started out as a fun time splashing around in my studio, forming this big wave with a liquid flow technique of inks and isopropyl alcohol on a repurposed framed print panel. However, after life events took me from painting for a few months, this wave had a deeper meaning to me, and ride the wave, a title suggested by a friend, really spoke to me about how things and life can seem huge and intimidating, but we'll come out the other side if we keep the strength to ride it out.
