"'Ride the Wave' started out as a fun time splashing around in my studio, forming this big wave with a liquid flow. However, after painful life events took me from painting for a few months, this wave had a deeper meaning to me, and the phrase 'ride the wave' really spoke to me about how bad situations and life events can seem huge and intimidating, but we'll come out on the other side if we keep the strength to ride it out."
